The 6 time All star had been hitting .217 at the time of the trade. Phillies GM Ruben Amaro said “Chase is an iconic, generational player,” In Los Angeles, Utley will be reunited with Shortstop Jimmy Rolins, his double play partner in crime for 12 seasons. Rollins signed with LA this past offseason.
