Stripling fans career-high 9 in Game 1 DH win
Ross Stripling struck out a career-high nine batters as the Dodgers took Game 1 of a split doubleheader. Max Muncy drove in a pair for the Dodgers, who have won two in a row after snapping a six-game skid. Tanner Roark went seven inning and threw a season-high 117 pitches for the Nationals, who lost Howie Kendrick to an apparent injury.
