Ike Davis took the first step toward a big second half with a 3-for-5 night Tuesday, which included his sixth home run. Davis, who will likely earn his second straight start Wednesday against Dodgers right-hander Dan Haren, helped the Pirates even the series, and they'll send lefty Francisco Liriano to the hill in the rubber match.
