Left-hander Eric Stults, who is 2-0 with a 1.37 ERA this month for the resurgent Padres, makes the start Wednesday night in the second meeting of a three-game series at Dodger Stadium. He will be opposed by Roberto Hernandez, making his third turn through the rotation after joining Los Angeles via trade on Aug. 7.
