Dodgers-Cubs Preview

The Los Angeles Dodgers missed a prime opportunity to maintain their substantial advantage in the NL West when they blew a sizable lead to the Chicago Cubs. They'll try to bounce back before a pivotal series with veteran Jamey Wright making a spot start in Sunday's finale at Wrigley Field. Los Angeles (88-67) looked like it was taking full advantage of a four-game set with the lowly Cubs (69-86) when it took a five-run lead into the seventh inning Saturday. The Dodgers gave up four runs in the seventh and Brian Wilson surrendered a two-run homer to Chris Coghlan in the eighth in an 8-7 loss.
