Brandon Beachy pointed to a scar on the inside of his right elbow and talked about "this guy," referring to the transplanted ulnar collateral ligament underneath. It's Beachy's own elbow, of course, but the euphemism is accurate. During his second Tommy John surgery in March 2014, he received a UCL harvested from a cadaver.
