Utley Dealt to Dodgers for Two Minor Leaguers

Wochit News - Dodgers acquired 2B Chase Utley from the Phillies for infielder/outfielder Darnell Sweeney and pitcher John Richy.The Dodgers are also getting roughly $4 million from the Phillies in the deal. The Dodgers will use Utley at second base with Howie Kendrick sidelined, allowing Kike Hernandez to slide into center field to spell Joc Pederson. The 36-year-old is hitting up to .217/.284/.333 on the year but has performed better at the plate since returning from the disabled list.
