Kenta Maeda held the Padres to four hits in 5 2/3 innings while striking out nine for the fourth consecutive start and the Dodgers got RBI hits from Matt Kemp, Logan Forsythe and Chris Taylor to edge the Padres, 4-2, on Wednesday night at Petco Park, pulling within a half-game of the first-place D-backs.
