The Dodgers entered play Saturday against the Arizona Diamondbacks trailing the NL West-leading San Francisco Giants by 7 1/2 games. Manager Don Mattingly said ahead of the game the way to cut into that is to simply play better.Perhaps what Mattingly should have said is that his team needs to start playing better at home.
