The Washington Nationals named Jim Hickey their pitching coach on Monday. Hickey, 59, was a special assistant for player development with the Los Angeles Dodgers the past two seasons. The 2021 season will be his 38th in professional baseball and 16th as a major league pitching coach, a role he held with the Houston Astros (2004-06), Tampa Bay Rays (2007-17) and Chicago Cubs (2018).
