Free agent left-hander Andrew Heaney and the Los Angeles Dodgers finalized their $8.5 million, one-year contract on Wednesday, filling a hole in the team's pitching staff. Heaney can earn an additional $1 million in performance bonuses: $250,000 each for 100, 125, 150 and 175 innings. The Angels traded him to New York on July 30 for two minor leaguers, and he was 2-2 with a 7.32 ERA in 12 games, including five starts, after the swap.
