Dave Roberts and Buck Showalter both received eight first-place votes, but the Mets' skipper got the edge in total voting by the Baseball Writers' Association of America to take home the 2022 National League Manager of the Year Award on Tuesday. Roberts came in second, slightly ahead of the Braves'
