James Loney has a sore knee, and the Los Angeles Dodgers sent him for an MRI. The results were generally positive as Loney is only suffering from some swelling. However, a sore knee is a bad way to start the season and it does bring up the issue of Loney's role with the Dodgers in the future. Loney has started out hitting .500, with five hits in 10 at-bats. Granted, that isn't a lot of plate appearances so Dodger fans should not get ahead of themselves and project a highly successful season.
