Quakes’ Sirota & Patick win player, pitcher of the week

Monday was a busy day for awards for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, the Dodgers' Low-A affiliate. Outfielder Mike Sirota was named California League player of the week, and left-hander Sterling Patick captured league pitcher of the week honors. Sirota hit two home runs and drove in four runs last week, playing five of the Quakes' six games against the Stockton Ports.
