The Los Angeles Dodgers celebrated their first win of the second half after holding off the Minnesota Twins in the ninth inning. Despite the victory, the Dodgers' need for another relief pitcher at the trade deadline grew even larger after closer Tanner Scott exited the game with injury. With runners on first and second and one out, Scott delivered a 2-2 pitch.
