I was born and raised in the Philadelphia area and remain here today. Growing up, I saw many Philadelphia Phillies games. Through most of my childhood and early adulthood, the Phillies were fairly mediocre. They started to improve in the 2000s. That culminated in 2008, when the team won the World Series. While that moment will likely always be my favorite, I had to watch it on television. However, I did get to enjoy Game 2 of the NLCS at Citizens Bank Park that season.
