LOS ANGELES - The streak is alive. Oh, and Andre Ethier kept his going, too. The other streak? The Dodgers' uncanny ability to staywithin a game of .500, in either direction. They moved back to the break-even point Monday night with a 5-2victory over the Chicago Cubs featuring seven strong innings fromClayton Kershaw and Ethier extending his hitting streak to 28 gameswith a fifth-inning single. Los Angeles, now 15-15, has been at or within a game of .500 for12 straight games, dating back to April 20 when it defeated theBraves to move to 9-10. In fact, the Dodgers have been at or within agame of .500 on all but nine of 33 days this season.
