LOS ANGELES - After Tyler Chatwood lost consecutive games thismonth, the Angels pushed the rookie'ssubsequent start back by two days to allow him to do a little extrawork in the bullpen between games. Clearly, that time has paid dividends. Chatwood (5-4) pitched seven strong innings in Saturday's 6-1win over the Dodgers, making him 2-0 with a 0.64 ERA in the twostarts since the right-hander spent some extra time working withpitching coach Mike Butcher on what Manager Mike Scioscia called"release-point issues."
