Astros fans speak out Long tradition Regarding "Astros' move to AL could beimminent" (Page C1, Oct. 21), history, real baseball, and atwo-hour time difference cry out for Houston to remain in theNational League Central. Houston has had a NL baseball connection since 1924 when theCardinals bought the Houston Buffs of the Texas League. It has beenan NL city from the beginning of its franchise in 1962. Rivalrieswith the Cardinals, Cubs, Reds and even the Dodgers and Braves arepart of our rich tradition.
