Joe Torre has returned to the job of Major League Baseball's executive vice president for baseball operations less than three months after he resigned the post to join a group trying to buy the Los Angeles Dodgers. Commissioner Bud Selig made the announcement in a release Friday. Torre managed the Dodgers from 2008-10, then retired and joined MLB in February 2011 as a top aide to Selig.
