Ellis' bases-loaded walk scored Elian Herrera with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Dodgers a 6-5 win Friday night over the St. Louis Cardinals, putting a charge into the Dodger Stadium crowd of 40,906 that just a few minutes earlier let out a collective groan when the Cardinals tied the game in the top of the ninth.
