Multiple media outlets reported late Friday afternoon that the Los Angeles Dodgers are close to acquiring first baseman Adrian Gonzalez, right-hander Josh Beckett, outfielder Carl Crawford and utility player Nick Punto from the Boston Red Sox for four minor league prospects and maybe cash.
