The Dodgers entered play Tuesday against the Cleveland Indians having won six of seven, eight of 10 and 13 of 17. They are one of the hottest teams in baseball and just erased a 9 1/2-game deficit to take a half-game lead over the San Francisco Giants in the NL West.Yet, believe it or not, the Dodgers had yet to win more than three games in a row through 85 games; they had done that seven times.
