Carl Crawford has returned from the disabled list, but he won't have a regular spot in the outfield, and he said he understood. Crawford, who was out 44 days with an ankle injury and endured a sore Achilles during the rehabilitation, was back in the Dodgers' clubhouse on Thursday but in a backup role.
