Nuno opposes Stults as the Diamondbacks host the Padres in the opener of a three-game series Friday night. Since being acquired from the New York Yankees for Brandon McCarthy on July 6, Nuno has gone 0-5 despite a 3.16 ERA in 11 starts. Nuno gave up two runs in seven innings of a 2-1 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers in his most recent outing last Friday.
