Clayton Kershaw's record-setting season figures to be enough to keep Adam Wainwright from winning his first Cy Young Award, but the Cardinals ace is still on the cusp of his 20th victory. He's more worried about getting sickly St. Louis closer to the NL Central title Monday night as he takes the mound in the opener of this three-game set with the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. Wainwright (19-9, 2.45 ERA) is one win shy of matching the Los Angeles Dodgers' Kershaw for the most in the majors and equaling his own career high set in 2010. Wainwright doesn't seem too concerned with personal accolades while St. Louis (87-69) is atop the Central by 2 1/2 games on second-place Pittsburgh with six games left in the regular season - one fewer than the Pirates.
