On Veterans Day, a number of businesses offer specials and freebies to military members . But one of the coolest things being a vet could get you Tuesday was an opportunity to take batting practice at Dodger Stadium. It's a young tradition for the Los Angeles Dodgers, now in its fourth year, but it's a winner. The team invites hundreds of service men and women — some still active, some veterans — to take batting practice, field grounders and chomp on Dodger Dogs.
