Something funny is going on with Clayton Kershaw and his friends. Last year, when the Los Angeles Dodgers ace won the NL Cy Young, a group of his childhood friends stood around him while he did a live interview talking about what it's like to be the best pitcher in the world. A proud entourage they were. On Wednesday, when the Los Angeles Dodgers ace won his second straight NL Cy Young award (and third in four years), that same group of friends stood around him while he did another live interview about what it's like to still be the best pitcher it the world. The entourage was proud this time too, but they looked entirely too similar. Same formation, circled around Kershaw. Same investment banker-in-training look about them. Kershaw says he and the boys were planning a night of video games and ping pong . But they're trolling us all, I'm sure of it.
