Don Mattingly declared the Dodgers' center-field job an open competition for spring training Wednesday. Barring injuries, it might be the only position competition in camp.Veteran Andre Ethier is still on the roster. So is the recently acquired Chris Heisey and prospect Joc Pederson, 22, who is considered the team's center fielder of the future.
