The 27-year-old southpaw was found to have no change from a 2012 MRI by Dodgers team doctor Neal ElAttrache and will be looked at again in two weeks, just after the Major League Baseball season begins, to decide on how to progress in his throwing work to prepare him for the campaign. Ongoing uncertainty over Ryu could force the Dodgers to look for a replacement for their starting rotation. The Dodgers also agreed to terms on a six-year contract for Cuban free agent second baseman Hector Olivera, according to the team website and the Los Angeles Times, each citing unnamed sources as the club had not confirmed a deal.
