Los Angeles Dodgers catcher Yasmani Grandal may have just turned in the best performance in a single game this season. Grandal had an exceptional game Thursday against the Milwaukee Brewers, driving in an incredible eight runs. The 26-year-old was completely locked in at the plate, reaching in all six of his plate appearances. He kicked things off in the first inning, hitting a single up the middle. Grandal would walk in his next two plate appearances. Reaching base wasn't enough, so Grandal decided to start driving in runs during his fourth at-bat. With the bases loaded in the sixth inning, Grandal singled in two runs. He would top himself the next time up, hitting a three-run homer in the eighth. The Dodgers continued to hit in the ninth inning, setting Grandal up for one more at-bat. Once again, he delivered. With two men on, Grandal belted another three-run shot to left center. He finished the contest 4 for 4, with three runs scored and eight RBI. He walked in his other two plate appearances. With the performance, Grandal managed to raise his batting average by .040 points.
