The Dodgers are considering surgery for injured starter Hyun-Jin Ryu, who has yet to pitch this season. The No. 3 starter has been out because of shoulder inflammation since March. Andrew Friedman, president of baseball operations, said Tuesday on a conference call he's been thinking for a while that Ryu won't return because it's easier to react the other way if he does.
