Upton, whose eighth-inning home run the day before won a game for the San Diego Padres, thought he'd beaten the Dodgers again Sunday afternoon. Swinging on a 3-0 count against pitcher Juan Nicasio, Upton's fly ball screamed toward the warning track in dead center field.
