Since 2002, the final player chosen to the American and National League All-Star teams has been determined by fan voting. Since then, the Dodgers have had six candidates in the so-called "Final Vote." Only one of the six has ever won: Nomar Garciaparra in 2006. On Friday, Clayton Kershaw joined a distinguished list of Dodger rejects including Matt Kemp (2009), Andre Ethier (2011), Adrian Gonzalez and Yasiel Puig (2014).
