Mat Latos' numbers entering his first start for the Dodgers on Sunday were not flattering. He was 4-7 with a 4.48 ERA this season.However, he had an ERA of 2.97 in seven starts since coming off the disabled list June 13. Opponents had hit just .198 against him during that time.That was the Latos who took the mound in the Freeway Series finale against the Angels.
