The Dodgers' magic number to clinch the NL West was seven after Saturday's games. Heading into action Tuesday against the Arizona Diamondbacks, it was still seven because the Dodgers lost Sunday and Monday while the Giants won Sunday and were off Monday.Victories are tough to come by when a team is trying to clinch.
