It's looking like Yasiel Puig might return to the Los Angeles Dodgers' lineup sometime soon, but it might not be in time for the division series in the playoffs against the New York Mets in a week. He was placed on the disabled list a day later with a hamstring strain, but manager Don Mattingly broke news Thursday when he told reporters Puig has made up a lot of ground, so to speak, in his recovery and is now able to run at 100 percent. Puig was scheduled to play in the outfield in an instructional league game in Arizona on Thursday. If all goes well, it would seem to bode well for a return to the lineup for the start of the playoffs, but Mattingly still isn't ready to commit to Puig being a part of that series. "Like three days ago, he was running at 80% and having pain," Mattingly told the Los Angeles Times . "And then, all of a sudden, he's going 100% and feels fine.
