The Los Angeles Dodgers faced no pressure going into the final game of the regular season on Sunday allowing them to have plenty of fun with the day. While other clubs around the major leagues were fighting for their playoff lives or positioning within the postseason, veteran shortstop Jimmy Rollins stepped into the manager's role for the day while Don Mattingly watched in the background as Los Angeles beat San Diego 6-3. [ Play a Daily Fantasy contest for cash today! ] Ok, Ok, Mattingly might have given Rollins a piece of advice or two such as when he sent Rollins to the mound to take Clayton Kershaw out of the game not long after Kershaw became the first pitcher in more than a decade to register 300 strikeouts in a season . One of the best moments came pregame when Rollins showed up in the dugout wearing legendary manager Tommy Lasorda's old jersey and ever stuffing it in the stomach area to give himself a little more gerth around the midsection.
