Aroldis Chapman's proposed move to the Los Angeles Dodgers from the Cincinnati Reds has been put on hold after the emergence of domestic violence allegations involving the All-Star pitcher, authorities said on Tuesday. Although police in Florida said Chapman would not face charges because of insufficient evidence, absence of injuries and no co-operating witnesses, Major League Baseball officials said an investigation had begun. "We're in the process of getting all information necessary," MLB chief baseball officer Joe Torre said in a press conference.
