The New York Yankees have agreed to one-year, non-guaranteed contracts with right-hander Michael Pineda and infielder-outfielder Dustin Ackley, forgoing salary arbitration with both. The Yankees also on Friday claimed minor league outfielder Lane Adams off waivers from Kansas City and designated infielder Ronald Torreyes for assignment. Torreyes was obtained in a trade with the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday.
