SAN DIEGO >> Dodgers manager Dave Roberts made a friendly wager in spring training with Kenta Maeda. If Maeda could hit a home run against him in batting practice, he'd buy the pitcher dinner. Roberts lost the bet. He said later that Maeda's home run wasn't a cheap one, perhaps aided by the Arizona wind.
