Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Josh Ravin was banned for 80 games on Monday after testing positive for growth hormones, the Major League Baseball team announced in a statement. Ravin, 28, said supplements he had taken in order to accelerate his recovery from a bout of flu were to blame for the positive test.
