But after Tuesday morning, when the Atlanta Braves fired manager Fredi Gonzalez , you won't hear much Spanish being spoken in managers' offices around the league. Gonzalez was the only Latino manager in MLB — a sport where nearly 30 percent of the players are Latino. And now he's not. Last winter, it looked like MLB might not have any African-American managers before the Washington Nationals hired Dusty Baker and the Los Angeles Dodgers hired Dave Roberts.
