Meet the newest Dodgers: Jesse Chavez

RHP JESSE CHAVEZAge: 32Background: A Fontana native and product of Riverside Community College, Chavez has made a big-league career for himself despite originally being a 42nd-round draft pick. He has spent nine years in the big leagues with five teams. He has pitched out of the bullpen most of his career but spent most of the past two seasons in the A's starting rotation before being traded to the Blue Jays last winter.
