The Miami Marlins' Jeff Francouer lined a single to left field with two outs in the eighth inning against Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Joe Blanton on Saturday night, ending a bid for a perfect game. Rich Hill threw seven perfect innings, striking out nine and throwing 89 pitches. With the Dodgers ahead 5-0, first-year manager Dave Roberts replaced the 35-year-old left-hander with Joe Blanton at the start of the eighth inning.
