The people rooting Los Angeles Dodgers to advance to the World Series this year so that Vin Scully would continue to call games through October in his final season in the booth will be disappointed. Scully, 88, told the Los Angeles Times on Tuesday that he will not do any of the radio broadcasts (all playoff games are broadcasted on national TV) for the Dodgers in the postseason. "Otherwise, I'd be saying good-bye like in grand opera, where you say good-bye 12 different times," Scully told The Times.
