Dodger fans scramble on short notice for afternoon playoff game

LOS ANGELES >> Dodgers manager Dave Roberts made it to the 11th inning. Stan Kasten, the team president, said he made it to the 12th. First baseman Adrian Gonzalez didn't even try. He went to bed early.So none of them were watching near midnight Tuesday when the San Francisco Giants beat the Chicago Cubs in 13 innings to stay alive in their National League Division Series -- even though it wasn't until then that the start time of the Dodgers' NLDS Game 4 was determined.
