Dodger Stadium’s Jackie Robinson statue will be unveiled April 15, 2017

One year to the day after the Dodgers announced a Jackie Robinson statue was in the works -- April 15, 2017 -- the team plans to unveil the finished product at Dodger Stadium.The historic day also marks the 70th anniversary of Robinson's major league debut with the Brooklyn Dodgers, the day he became the first African-American to break Major League Baseball's "color barrier.
