LOS ANGELES - Sergio Romo thanked Dave Roberts after pitching a scoreless sixth inning in Wednesday's game against the San Diego Padres. The manager said it was the first time a pitcher thanked him for putting him in a game."That came as a surprise," Roberts said, "but I think it was pretty genuine.
