As far as statues go in the Dodger Stadium neighborhood, this 10-foot-tall Jackie Robinson bronze that will be unveiled Saturday night is as overdue as Robinson was in becoming a Major League Baseball player 70 years ago in Brooklyn.What took so long?The answer to both seems to be the same.
